Terms of service

1. The service

SeenPixel builds and runs websites and automation for business owners and creators. Each client receives an order (by email or on a private order page) that lists the deliverables, the price and the billing period. The order and these terms together form the agreement. Accepting the order, by replying to it, ticking the agreement box, or paying, means you accept these terms.

2. What a care plan includes

A website care plan includes hosting, SSL, the domain named in your order, a contact form, and small updates: changing text, swapping images, updating rates or links, up to the number of updates stated in your order (two per month unless it says otherwise). Larger changes, new pages, new features and redesigns are quoted separately before any work starts.

3. Billing and cancellation

Plans are billed monthly in advance by card through Stripe, starting on the day you subscribe. You can cancel at any time; the plan ends at the close of the period already paid, and no further charges are made. One-time projects are billed as stated in their order.

4. Non-payment

If a payment fails and is not resolved within 14 days, the site is taken offline. If it is still unpaid after 60 days, the site and its files are deleted and the domain is released at the end of its registration period.

5. Ownership

The design, code, templates and hosting setup are SeenPixel's and stay with SeenPixel. Everything you give us, including your name, brand, logo, photos, text and content, stays yours, and you can ask for a copy of it at any time.

6. Domains

SeenPixel registers and holds the domain named in your order while your plan is active. If you leave, you can take the domain with you: on request we transfer it to a registrar account of your choice for a one-time transfer fee of $50 plus the registration cost, within 30 days of your request. A domain you already owned before working with us remains yours throughout.

7. Content

You are responsible for the content you ask us to publish and confirm you have the right to use it. We may decline content that is unlawful, infringing, misleading or harmful. We don't publish anything about your business that you haven't provided or approved.

8. What we don't promise

We don't guarantee search rankings, traffic, leads, brand deals, sales or any particular result. We keep the site running and do the work described in your order; outcomes depend on many things outside the site.

9. Liability

Our total liability for anything related to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the issue. We are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or data loss, except where the law does not allow such limits.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change affects an active plan materially, we email you at least 14 days before it takes effect, and you can cancel before then.
